Where did my kid go?

Alright so as many of you can see I am really intreged by the octuplet mother. In the San Jose News I found this article called Octuplet mom had past police, child welfare visits. Now this is something that makes me think about how well of a mother one can be to fourteen children. There is obviously proof that she has been neglectant. In the article it says that Nadya ,the mother, has locked a child in the bedroom and also lost one of her children because they wandered off. The police had to come let the child out of the bedroom and had to visit on numerous occassions due to the complaint that the children are treated poorly. This greatly upsets me because she is still in full custody of all the children I assume because the article didnt state anything about the children being taken. How can one woman who lives in a one story house with her parents and no husband plan to give each child the necessary attention? This can not be done effectively. I dont think that this is the best environment for the children to live in. They will not get the attention and proper nutrition needed to grow. This will affect their future well being and possibly their social interactions later. I think that the children should be placed into a more stable environment where they will flourish into acomplished adults. I think that if someone can not care for the children they have they should not have had them in the first place. Nadya's decision has major consequences and this is just the tip of the iceberg.
